Feb 14, 2013 · Ygolnac Feb 18, 2013 @ 8:53am. it happened to me too, and fixed this way. When you get stuck in loading screen just ctrl/alt/canc, close NV, restart it and load a previous save. After a previous save has been loaded, you can press esc and load your lastest save. For me it worked all the times i had your problem.

This is easily solved, just clear the cache on your Hard-Drive (Xbox 360) and it should then allow you to load. This issue also affects the PC version of the game in Steam. It is unrelated to the size of the save file, and it does not seem to be caused by a "corrupt save." In the absence of a permanent solution, you can load from within the game.

level 2. · 7 yr. ago. Go to windows explorer users/ (your user)/saved games/. Find Fallout 4 save file and rename it to backup. Start the game. It should come up just like when you started for the first time. After that go back and fine the saved games and move them over with the exception of the last one or two.

Jun 08, 2014 · I'm about 7 hours into New Vegas Ultimate Edition and suddenly I can't load any of my saves. I have 3 saves, including the auto save, and when I attempt to load any of them it just loads forever. The wheel at the bottom keeps turning, and the background changes periodically, but I can't move the mouse and it never actually loads anything.

This is a reccurent and unfixed issue in NV- somehow individual save files become corrupt occationally and you can't load them. No known fix.

Apr 30, 2020 · Very annoying. A simple work-around for this problem is to start a new game. Note that you'll want to retain any saves you may have to this point. You'll wake up Doc Mitchell's house where you'll once again be guided though creating your character. It doesn't matter whether you create the same character or not.
