The only way I can get OS X to eject my SD card after importing into FCPX is to quit Final Cut. I've tried ejecting from the Import window in FCPX, but it still won't eject.

Sep 01, 2021 · When I run FCPX on my Macbook Pro 2019 16", I insert my memory card into a reader that is connected via USB-C and the card gets recognized immediately. However, if I want to insert a card again or a different card once files have been downloaded, it does not recognize the card. If I quit and restart FCPX, it will recognize a card again.

Class 10 only makes base read speed (before cache tweak, faster), but write speed is 4x more. I have a funny feeling that something else might be limiting my read speed.
